IQA Trustee Applications are Now Open

The International Quadball Association (IQA) is looking for new Trustees to serve on its Board. Interested candidates should read the below carefully and submit an application by January 31, 2024.

Trustee elections will be held during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Assembly on February 24, 2024.

The Board of Trustees is responsible for leading the IQA, though day-to-day operations are managed by the Directors. The board may exercise all powers granted to the IQA and perform all lawful acts required by the affairs of the IQA, so long as the exercise of such powers and the doing of such acts are consistent with the IQA’s purposes. The board shall have ultimate authority over the business, policies, affairs, and activities of the IQA.

Please note that the official language of the IQA is English, and therefore applicants must be proficient in both verbal and written English.

During the Trustee election at the AGM:

• Candidates are welcome to attend the AGM to answer any questions that NGBs may have. NGBs are strongly encouraged to send questions in advance to trustees@iqasport.org.

• To officially enter the election, an applicant must be nominated by a Full Member NGB during the AGM. 

• Full Member NGBs of the IQA will vote to elect the new Trustees, in accordance with Article V, Section 2 of the IQA Constitution.

The Chair will, in coordination with the Board and the relevant IQA staff, contact the Trustees elected for onboarding procedures.
