Organizational Updates in the IQA
While the positions for CEO and COO of the International Quidditch Association are still open (apply here), new exciting opportunities are now available following some recent organizational change.
Jessyka Schwandt, previous HR Director and Trustee, resigned from her position as HR Director but remains a Trustee. Vanessa Silva, previous Finance Director and Trustee, stepped down from her roles in the IQA to follow other opportunities outside the Association.
We are happy to announce that Friederike Reimer has stepped into the role of HR director, after doing some great work as IQA Membership Resource Manager.

Together with Vanessa, Luke Nickholds will also be leaving his role as Chair of the Board of Trustees for personal reasons. We wish Vanessa and Luke good luck and thank them for all the passion, commitment and dedication shown over the years. They were beloved members in our organization and will be missed. We wish you good luck with future opportunities and we hope to see you around!
With Luke stepping down as Chair of the Board, we welcome Austin Wallace as new Chair, with Rahel Liviero as new Vice-Chair.
Up to three additional trustees are selected by the IQA full members, at an Annual General Meeting, which will be held in February 2020. The exact date is to be determined. All candidates will be presented by the selection committee, which will be a team of current Trustees, IQA Congress members, and IQA volunteers.
